Guys, help spread the word about this monster campaign. There are so many things to choose from here. Build something and have fun. As for me, it may be a good reason to do a little 1/160 diorama. http://www.osbornsmodels.com/kato-10-1156---n-scale-series-200-tohokujoetsu-shinkansen-bullet-train-6-car-set-25117-p.asp

Howdy Y'all
I just ordered a Godzilla model in 1/400 scale from a vendor in Asia. Should be here in a month. Looking forward to this campaign.
Take care,

Also managed to get ahold of an inexpensive Lindberg Gato Sub model that I will attempt to convert to something resembling the "Mu Empire" Submarine!

Interested in joinging this campaign. Loved all of the movies from the 60s when I was growing up. I used to love "Monster Movie Saturdays" with my cousins. I just don't don't know what to build.

How about this one??

Just kidding. I'm sure I will find something to build and enter. I really want to build one of the monsters.

Thanks,
Randy

There are ten people participating in this campaign which is the minimum number required and so I have authorised the campaign. I will make this topic a sticky so it makes it easier for everyone to find.

Good luck to all of you and remember more members are welcome to sign up for this build!

I recently started a diorama with a Gojira theme for sci-fi night at my model club this month. I would love to be included.

Thank you for the inclusion. Here is what I have so far. Sculpey sea, painted with acrylics to look like the pacific, and under a heavy layer of acrylic gloss medium. There are several mistakes, folds and indentations in the Sculpey that I failed to smooth out that I am correcting. The holes for Gojira's fins are in place (I need to cast the fins from the Polar Lights kit) and for the Trumpeter USS Lassen. The PL kit is the 1954 Gojira which was 164 feet tall and is 1/160 compared to a 1/700th Arleigh Burke-class which is 509 feet long. I still think it will look kool. Creative license.

Great to have Larry and everyone else (13 so far) on board. Spread the word about the Godzilla Campaign which will begin January 1, 2018. Lets build and complete some Godzilla projects and have some fun.

I'm in. I've been playing some Kaiju miniature games and I can't resist. Not sure what I'll do but it'll probably be either a beast or one of the funky vehicles.

Got mine in the mail yesterday, how's that for a Christmas present? I'll get a photo of it in a couple of days when I'm moving around more. I had knee surgery last week and recovery isn't has quick as I'd hoped.
The first priority will be completing the AT-ST for Sci-Fi 3, the campaign ends on the 31st.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Don, glad you received your kit. Very good Christmas/Boxing Day present indeed. Best wishes on your speedy recovery.
