This 1/16th scale model is an homage to the Ron Marshall painting of an Australian Light horseman sharing the last drops of water in his canteen with his mount. The groundwork, unlike Mr. Marshall's painting, is meant to simulate the desert of Palestine. Other than that I stayed as close as I could to the painting.

The model was painted by Eduardo Lopes, a medal-winning miniatures painter from Spain.

Hope you like it!

All the best,
Dan
