I'm not a fan of the Academy B&C either, but after a long career of heavy automotive line work, then off-road and racing fabrication, my hands simply won't co-operate when trying to do B&C like Legends. I may sound whiney, but I sure think there's a market for some molded "generic" B&C in a soft styrene, like Dragon DS....
Frankly, my best effort, pictured below, looks like krap.....

I'm about to start the Meng Mk3 kit, and I hope for better results from its plastic B&C. Otherwise, I'm just going to sit in the corner and pout.....

Nice work Sal.

Will try one John.

Hey Marco don't be hard on your work bud. We all learn as we build, and it is the fun of building which makes the hobby, not competing.

I was kidding Peter. I always loved my work and I always loved to see other's works, because I learn with each one.

I don't remeber now, but I said in one of my treads that Armorama in general teach me a lot of new technics and I'm very thankfull about that because my models are a lot better now.

Cheers mate!

Hi,

Nice completed kits, John, Sal and others.
Loving natural scenes, I'm making a simple base.

Hope to finish it.
Sincerely,
K.

Hi,
Another IDF tank is finished. Nice looking, John.

Thanks for your comments, Peter. I continue my base. We call it the multi-used base because of putting any 1/35 kits on it.

Testing:

Now, I'll be back to my Merk IV.
Regards,
K.

Stash, carpet, speaker, disc antenna,... Full of details.

How do you made the colorful carpet, Peter?

Thanks guys. Nearly there. I found an resin Arab boy in the stash so painting him up now. Should be done in a day or so.

Mr.K the carpet is from a load of bit and pieces I bought off ebay a few years back, it is thick paper. I am sure you could scan a picture and print it off and get good results. The base is pretty much scratch apart from a few bits like the cardboard boxes and the carpet. Everything else is polystyrene sheets, plasticard, cut and stretched sprue and plaster. The pavement is a mold set I have so they are made with polyfila. Dish is bits out of the spares box with sprue for cable. The shop is meant to be a spice shop, and the counter I made of bits of wood. I have done 2 IDF figures which will be standing at the open back door of the Merk. The Arab boy will be speaking with them. The flag is tissue paper with wood glue to make it hard and paintable. I have also added a water tank to the roof. I will post more pics once I am done.

Cheers Pete

Hi,
Congratulations, Sal, Peter and everyone had done the works.
Thanks, John Pereira for the launching this campaign for all of us.

I just have finished my stuff. The Merkava Mk.IV from Academy and figures from old Dragon kit.

The traffic sign, familiar to Israeli land, is copied from the net. Actually, I don't know the Mk-IV's existance on that scene.

Cheers,
K.

Good work on the diorama. A lot of interesting details to look at. What did you make the water tank from, kit?

Hi Ko
The water tank was made from a piece of drainage pipe cut to size with plasticard for top and bottom and sprue for the pipes.

Got 3rd at Moorlands show with it.
