Every day is absent less for a Hornet of luxury. Your Willys better equipped than the mine!!!! Jajaja and swallow less gasoline !!!

.................came to the mind this movie.... Rommel call to Cairo.

Hi Daniel, it is a very overloaded Willys
Wait until I start the Chevrolet It's even more overloaded.
The Hornet rigging is taking a little longer due to a little bit too much strain on the yards

Julian,

Your progress continues to be first rate and the island rigging is outstanding. Concerning the B-25Bs, I did notice you painted the propeller tips yellow. The B-25B used on this mission did not have yellow propeller tips. The entire prop/hub was black. There are multiple photos that confirm this. It is no big deal, I just thought you might want to know. I am looking forward to more progress photos.

Hi Phillip, thanks for the tip. This is an easy one to correct because only one of the 16 B-25's has it's propellers fitted

Hi Robert Jan, back in Holland or on a time warp?
A very nice 3rd place for Vettel and an enjoyable first win for Daniel Ricciardo, a most exciting Grand Prix

Fair and square win Russell, wouldn't be surprised if he was a future world champ. You heard he postponed his flight out of Canada yesterday so he could celebrate his first win in style

June 9th update:
What with the Grand Prix of Canada, Pinkpop, Barbecues and cleaning up my workbench for the first time since I built my 1/50th Chebeck in 2009 model building has taken a low priority this weekend. I have started adding the railings to the hangar deck and the boat booms have been shipped and painted. The de-icing boots on the B-25's have been painted:

I made some more progress on my SAS Jeep but still have a way to go yet:

I have started ordering the extra goodies I want to add to the Airfix 1/24th Typhoon, meaning I have ordered several reference books, AK Interactive's new RAF color set, a set of brass Hispano 20mm cannon barrels, Airscale 1/24th instrument dials and cockpit placard decals, happily boosting the price of this newest toy
Only thing gnawing at me is where to park the blog
I can't really post it here at model shipwrights so I am still looking around for a change of venue.
Time now for another round of barbecuing and I have just the correct "onion skin" Rose from the Provence to accompany things.

Why not Aeroscale? Heck with all those fine looking Wildcats, TBD's & Mitchells on deck this build would almost qualify for the Aeroscale site. Al

oh come on Julian! We are all very friendly over at AeroScale

Besides, I've always followed your builds here, and I know you'd do a great job on the Typhoon and I am really looking forward to a build blog on this new masterpiece from Airfix

So come on over to the light side

Good morning Bruce,
I know you are a friendly bunch. I did couple of builds and a review over there on the light side and the comments and remarks were very positive.

Now let's see. AK Interactive paints, instrument and cockpit decals and a Hispano 20mm cannon have arrived for the Hawker Typhoon build. Photos still to come
