The proposal became for the DH 9 But this was not the end for the DH 4 and the following details why. The 230hp Siddeley Puma suffered from the aluminum being too porous. 90% of the castings were rejected rate at one point. As motors became available the DH 4 was called back into production. Roden has given us a fine example of this variation.

One further note here. Roden does give you a paper template for the sunburst design for the fuselage.
