I did some basic paint on the horse. Will add more color variation on the coat, and the saddle etc as well as the mane and tail

very good pre-shading dave , the fine lines stand out very well , as allways cant wait to see the finished model

Don't forget a dark wash on the saddle,to bring out the edges of those 2 straps.
Duh,like you would..I can be so dumb. #:-)

Very nice so far Dave, but no white socks? No star on his forehead? Seriously though, just a couple of suggestions , the nose, inside of the ears, base of the leg above the hoof, all these spots are prime candidates for color variations. On a horse like you have maybe a darker color, almost black for these areas might be good. Just my two cents, but horses come in more colors and variations than SS camo so go wild!!
